Abstract

450,611. Retractive switches. MARCHAND, G. I. C., and HATFIELD TRUST, Ltd., (trading as KINGSWAY ELECTRICAL SERVICES), GAUGHAN, M., and WING, G. R., 54, Bloomsbury Street, London. May 25, 1935, No. 15288. [Class 38 (v)] A foot-operated switch comprises a tumbler switch 1 mounted on a base plate 5 to which is hinged at 10 a pedal 7. A link 13 formed of two strips is pivoted at 14 to the pedal 7 while the other end is forked at 17 and apertured to embrace the knob 18 of the dolly of the switch 1 to which it is clamped by a screw 15. A retraction spring 19 has its ends supported by studs 20, 21 which, by their mutual engagement, limit the inward movement of the pedal 7.
