Abstract
450,201. Photographic roll - film cameras. TAKACS, P., 30, Tatrautca, Budapest, and SANDOR, L., Ober-Gutsverwalter, Pusztamizse, both in Hungary. Sept. 26, 1935, No. 26665. [Class 98 (i)] In cameras having a pair of masking screens movable over the surface of the film for controlling the area of film exposed, the screens are constructed of flexible material and are connected at the edges by crossed bands forming a continuous loop passing round a pair of rollers so that on rotating one of the rollers the edges' of the screens approach or recede from one another. One of the screens is provided with an indicating mark visible through an aperture in the camera back and the film is also provided with marks which correspond with indicating marks on the camera back to show the corresponding picture sizes. In the form shown, the screens d, e, Fig. 2, are connected by the strips f, g, one of the screens also carrying an indicating mark x. They are moved by rotating one or both of the rollers round which they pass and which may be provided with toothed wheels engaging a rack. The mark x is visible in a window h, Fig. 3, in the camera and markings m<1>1, m<11>1 ... m<1>4, m<11>4 connected by lines m are provided adjacent windows i, k in the camera back, through which corresponding marks on the film are visible.
