[Class 66] A device for maintaining the bail handle of a bucket &c. in the raised position consists of a spiral spring or the like A provided at the ends with hooks B, C, adapted to be engaged respectively through the looped end of the handle and the lug or ear to which it is attached, and under the base rim of the vessel. A pair of the device may be employed, engaged with the handle ends at each side of the bucket.
