448,899. Horticultural frames. BURKIN, W. E., and BURKIN, R. E., Tudor House, Kelvedon, Essex. Feb. 8, 1935, No. 4132. [Class 20 (i)] A horticultural frame of triangular section is provided with means whereby the inclined glass sides may be retained in open or closed positions, and the sheets of glass on each side are joined by U-strips of metal so that they may be moved together. The frame comprises a ridge-bar a fixed to end supports b, and legs d which are pivoted to the supports so that they may be folded together at each end. The legs at each end are maintained in open position by a bar b hinged to one of them, and the end frames are connected lengthwise by side bars j having ledges k on which rest the edges of the glass sides. These are maintained in open position by a notched bar o secured to the ridge-bar, and further supporting bars q carried by the ridge-bar are adapted to be turned into the centre plane for the frame to collapse The upper edges of the glass sheets on each side are joined by U-shaped strips of metal n.
