The glass panels of show cases &c. are secured against small intermediate double. rebated or beaded strips of suitable shape 2, by spaced clips or angle pieces 3 bolted to the glass. The projecting beads of the strips are cut away or provided with suitably notched extensions 5, Fig. 9, to take the clips 3. Inner and outer clips may be provided and the meeting edges of the panels may be recessed for a rounded or other shape of bead. The strips 2 may be joined at the ends by soldering or may be secured en the cornice.
