448,352. Floats for valves. SHARP, W. G., Iwinloun North, West Meadway, Shoreham-by Sea. Jan. 4, 1935, No. 347. [Class 135] A glass float 1 is connected to the lever or arm 7 operating the valve, by the engagement of an externally screw-threaded boss 2 on the float in an internally screw-threaded socket 4 integral with, or screwed to, the arm 7. The socket may be locked on the boss by any suitable means. The float may be blown or moulded of ellipsoidal or other shape, the boss being plugged with glass or other sealing medium 8.
