Abstract

446,108. Lubricating-nipple. WHITELEGG, R. H., Grand Buildings, Trafalgar Square, London. Nov. 8, 1934, No. 32160. [Class 12 (iii)] A grease nipple is closed by a valve 4, which, during the injection of lubricant is forced back till its flange 5 seats against the bush 7, this flange having gaps for the passage of the grease. A light spring 13 assists in closing the valve. In a modification the valve is closed. solely by the grease pressure.
