Abstract
441,811. Roller holders. TRIGGS, W. W., 57, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.- (Griffith-Hope Co. ; 6607, West Mitchell Street, West Allis, Wisconsin, U.S.A.) May 3, 1935, No. 13201. [Class 52 (v)] [See also Group XVII] Roll towels, paper rolls, &c. 127 are mounted between a pair of brackets 118 attached to a base plate 110 by stirrup-shaped springs 117 engaging the rear of the base plate at 124 and having integral retractable legs projecting forwardly through apertures 116 in the base plate and pivoted to the brackets. The base plate is flanged at 111 to house the springs 117, and the brackets have embossments 125 adapted to enter the ends of the roll and inturned side flanges 119 with openings 120 to receive hooks 121 formed on the ends of the springs 117, the inner corners of the flanges being rounded at 122. The outer parts of the side flanges 119 rest against ribs 123 on the base plate about which the brackets pivot when forced outwards for the insertion of a roll. The brackets may be swung inwards against the base plate for packing. Holes for the fixing screws are provided in dished portion 115 of the base plate. U.S.A. Specification 1,955,067 is referred to.
