Abstract
441,542. ventilators. HUGHES, B. D., 22, Newman Street, Oxford Street, London. May 22, 1934, No. 15314. [Class 137] A hopper ventilator is formed of a plate or sheet of metal 1 the ends of which are bent at right angles to form side walls 2, and so that the top of the plate is thrown outwardly. The side walls may be flanged as at 3, Fig. 1, to enable the ventilator to be secured to a wall, or, as in Fig. 5, bent to form channels 7 in which slide projections 8 formed on the vertical side edges of a wall box 6. Alternatively, the sides of the wall box and of the ventilator may be formed of a single sheet of metal.
