Aug. 29, 1935, No. 24164. Convention date, Aug. 30, 1934. [Class 83 (ii)] [See also Groups XXVI and XII] Heating - elements for mercury boilers are manufactured from steel or like blocks or foundation members which are rolled to produce projections 25, 26 and bosses 20. Rounded recesses are formed between alternate adjacent projections 25, 26 which are bent to form cylindrical channels. The outer edges of the walls are welded together at 32. The attachment of refractory material by the bosses may be further facilitated by ribs 33.
