438,945. Funnel guides for drawing- frames. SACHSISCHE TEXTILMASCHINEN-FABRIKVORM. R. HARTMANN AKT.- GES., 27, Altchemnitzer Strasse, Chemnitz, Germany. June 4, 1935, No. 16212. Convention date, Oct. 2, 1934. [Class 120 (i)] In a drawing-frame having a reciprocating carriage the revolving funnel guide e is alternately rotated in opposite directions by a drive including a reversing gear c, o which is precipitately reversed by the carriage in such a manner that the funnel e rotates during the reversal of the carriage. The shaft b of the reversing gear is driven from the lower drawing roller shaft a and a double cone c, shown in its mid-position, is slidable on the shaft b and is alternately brought into engagement with two clutch discs o in order to engage the gears f, g, through which the shaft d for driving the revolving funnel e is driven in one direction or the other. Reversal is effected by an abutment i resiliently mounted in an adjustable bracket h on the carriage p and co-operating with a fixed abutment bolt n of a clutch lever k oscillatable about a shaft to shift the double cone o to the left or right. A resilient catch l is arranged in a sleeve on the lever k and co-operates with a nose m fixed on the machine to lock the clutch in either operative position.
