[Class 18] A partitioning device for packing cases, trays, &c. comprises a sheet A, Fig. 1, of cardboard &c. provided with score lines A<1> and with a row of holes A<2> between the lines A<1>, and when the sheet is folded up to corrugated form, Fig. 3, a partitioning and stiffening member B is threaded through the holes, the latter extending to the bottom of the corrugations. The lines A<1> may run at an angle to each other so that the sheet when folded would fit into a fan-shaped or circular container. The member B may comprise a rod or bar, or a tube formed from similar material to the sheet A and of triangular or other cross section, e.g. channel shaped, and more than one tube may be provided. If the holes A<2> are not stamped out of the blank their positions are indicated by weakened portions.
