[Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii)] [See also Group X] A convertible chair, step ladder, and ironing-board comprises a portion b, d which forms the only support of the device in all its positions. A part k, j, l is connected to it by hinges h, and the ironing-board m is rigidly attached to the parts j, l, which, with the part c form the steps of the ladder shown in Fig. 3. To convert it into a chair, the parts k, j, l, m are moved through 180‹, the parts g,j then forming the seat and the ironing-board m the back. The part then abuts against the part c. The ironing board is held in a horizontal position by two slotted stays o and pinch screws.
