Abstract
A weed-killer containing sulphur is obtained by treating spent oxide from gas-purifiers with steam &c. at a temperature near the melting-point of sulphur. The product may be used alone or in admixture with sand; the sand may be mixed with the oxide either before or after the heat treatment.
