Abstract

[Class 112] A method of making pillow, bolster or like slips, or bags, consists in stitching two superposed long lengths of fabric a, b along one pair of adjacent edges in a single-needle machine and transferring the double length to a two needle machine 24 to stitch across the length of the fabric forming two rows of stitching, hand simultaneously cutting between the rows by a knife 25 which is reciprocated by the needles.
