434,937. Refrigerators. ELECTROLUX, Ltd., Luton.-(Assignees of Platen-Munters Refrigerating System Aktiebolag; 2, Norrmalmstorg, Stockholm) April 30, 1935, No. 12887. Convention date, May 5, 1934. [Class 29] Refrigerators having air - cooled heat delivering apparatus members, such as gilled parts 6, located outside the insulating walls 5 of the storage space 2 containing the refrigerating element 3, are adapted to be built into a wall or kitchen cupboard re cess 7 so as to pro vide an air flue at the bottom, top and the back or sides of the cabinet through which a current of air will flow by natural draught. The front of the cabinet containing the door 8 of the storage space is provided at the top and bottom with louvres 14, 15, which may be curved and adjustable in inclination and may be mounted in frames that may be pivoted to give access to the flue space for cleaning &c. The louvre frames may be flush with the front wall of the recess, or the cabinet front may project slightly and the louvre frames be inclined towards the wall. The cabinet may have rear legs and the fins of the heated parts may act as distance pieces at the back ; alternatively separate distance pieces 18, formed to serve as runners in inserting the cabinet, may be employed.
