Abstract

<PICT:0433802/IV/1> An inner shell or roller g is provided in a perforated roller a for a fabric steaming machine to cut down the internal capacity of the roller in order to save steam and also time in filling and emptying the roller during the operation of the machine. The shell g may be of uniform diameter or may taper, and may just clear the inner ends of the nipples b which are provided to prevent water of condensation passing out on to the fabric being treated. Specifications 7680/00, [Class 15], and 21681/12, [Class 15 (i)], are referred to.
