[Class 52 (ii)] In an X-frame folding chair in which the upper ends of the rear legs A are pivoted to the front of the seat B and the front legs C are pivoted to the rear of the seat, the rear legs consist of a U-shaped metal prop, and pass through elements D pivotally secured to the front legs. In the position of use, stops E on the legs A bear against the elements D. The latter may consist of rings with shanks rotating in the legs C, and the stops E may consist of rings secured to the legs A.
