Abstract

428,281. Brushes. COSBY, E. L. H., and COSBY, JUN., E. L. H., 34, York Avenue, East Sheen, London. Jan. 11, 1935, No. 1011. [Class 19] [See also Group VII] A toilet or massage brush consists of a bag or glove 1, Fig. 4, of rubber or like material shaped to the hand and having bristles secured in the palm by a separate sheet 4 of rubber, the ends of the bristles being bent over between the sheet 4 and the wall of the bag. In a modification, Fig. 6, the bristles are mounted on a sheet 4 which is bent outwards, being fitted in a frame 6 secured by tongues 6a to the bag 1. In some cases bristles of different hardness may be applied to opposite sides of the bag. In another modification, Fig. 10, stubs 3a may be applied to the back of the brush.
