Abstract
426,879. Collapsable tubes. HACK, E., 77, Farringdon Road, London. Oct. 12, 1933, No. 28217. [Class 11] [See also Group XVII] A case or holder 3 for a brush, lipstick, or other article or material 6 is removably or fixedly attached to a collapsable tube and serves as a roller for extruding the contents. The article &c. may be mounted in a tubular cap 4 adapted to engage the end of the holder. As shown in Fig. 1, the case is formed with struck-up lugs 2 adapted to be passed through slots formed in the end of the tube and bent over. The case may alternatively be slit longitudinally and formed with a groove 7, Fig. 3, receiving a roll or enlargement 8 at the end of the tube. Specification 200,579, [Class 11], is referred to.
