426,299. Non - refillable bottles. GREENE, E., 29, Laurel Place, Upper Montclair, New Jersey, U.S.A. Sept. 23, 1933, No. 19017/34. Divided out of 426,130. [Class 125 (i)] A stopper for a non- refillable bottle comprises a casing 1 for insertion in the bottle neck, a cover 6 having an orifice 7<1> and a flange 61 which is integral with the cover and is secured to the casing by a gasket 12. The cover has a screw cap 8 and a gasket 10. The flange 3 on the casing 1 is of greater diameter than the bottle neck and the flange on the cover is of greater diameter than the flange 3. The gasket 12 engages the bottom surface of the cover and the top of the bottle neck. The valve mechanism includes a cork valve disc 14 and a weight member 15, of porcelain &c. A guard and guide member 16 is provided above the member 15. Longitudinal ribs 2<1> bevelled at their upper end co-operate with the guide member 16.
