[Class 52 (v)] A display rack for use in shop windows comprises a shelf-carrying frame 1 mounted to turn about a vertical axis and also to be displaced laterally by a swinging or sliding movement, the frame being connected at top and bottom to carrier members 7 swivelly connected to fixed attachment parts 10. The side bars of the shelf carry adjustable brackets 2 for shelves 3 and are connected by horizontal bars 5 passing slidably through guide sleeves 6 on the carrier members 7 which have sockets 8 rotatable on vertically aligned pins 9 fixed at 10 to the top and floor of the shop window. To prevent the bars 4, 5 being scratched the sleeves 6 may have bushes of lignum vitµ, felt, &c. retained by plates 16. Set screws are provided in the lower carrier member 7 to lock the frame in adjusted lateral and angular positions. In a modification, Fig. 6, the frame is pivoted at top and bottom to links 24 pivoted at 26 to the vertical pins 9 about which it can be swung laterally. Vertical pins 27 passing through holes in the bars 4, 5 and engaging threaded holes in auxiliary bars 29 are rotatable in sleeves 25 at the free ends of the links 24, ball bearings 31 being provided. The sleeve 26 which engages the lower pin 9 houses a spring plunger 32 carrying a member 34 engaging normally over the bottom bar 5 to prevent turning. A set-screw 18 locks the link 24 in adjusted position. To prevent the frame tilting forwards the top bar 4 carries stops 36, 36<a> adapted to engage the end of the pin 9 in either end position of the frame.
