July 31, 1934, No. 22340. Convention date, Aug. 1, 1933. [Class 38 (i)] In electrical heaters provided with removable plug-in elements, a socket member 1 is mounted in a split insulating bushing 3 which surrounds the upper part of the socket to prevent accidental contact and also serves to insulate the socket from the frame 2. The bushing and socket and an earthing spring 6 are held in position by a nut 5 threaded on the socket and engaging a ring 4. The bushing and ring are preferably oval in section and the outer edge of the head of the socket may also be non-circular, e.g. hexagonal.
