Void [Abridged as open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Aug. 26, 1933]. [Class 4] An aeroplane wing comprising two half-wings 2, 3, of any type, e.g. having one or two spars or of box formation, connected by a single narrow girder 1, is secured in position by the girder being passed through or recessed into the fuselage, additional securing-means 4 being provided on each half-wing spaced as far as possible from the girder. The Figure shows a wing construction for a hydroplane, the fuselage being connected to the central float by the lower part 6.
