[Class 102 (ii).] In an icing syringe or the like the barrel a engages, by a bayonet joint b<2>, with a cap b, formed integral with a pistol handle d. The piston-rod c is formed with ratchet teeth which are engaged by a pawl e3 carried by an operating lever e. Retraction of the piston-rod is prevented by a pawl d<2> carried by the handle.
