Abstract

372,854. Dispensing paste. DETHICK, W. H., 30, Broadway, Withington, Manchester. Nov. 14, 1931, No. 5983. [Class 102 (ii).] Apparatus for dispensing soap paste &c. comprises a container 5 having a cover 9 secured by a bayonet joint 8, or otherwise, and an internal rib 6 engaging a piston 17, which is operated by a screwed rod 11, turned by a knob 12. The rod 11 carries a spring 14, which engages a detent 15 when a valve 16 carried by the rod covers the discharge opening 10. The lower part of the rod 11 may be unthreaded and surrounded by a spring, to prevent overdriving of the piston.
