Abstract
417,417. Folding fabrics. ADDLEMAN, B., 12, Mexboro' Grove, Chapeltowm Road, Leeds. Sept. 19, 1933, No. 25837. [Class 42 (ii).] Folding transversely.-A device for laying-up fabric in the manufacture of clothing preparatory to cutting-out comprises a table 1, a pair of fixed slotted brackets 9, a pair of adjustably clamped slotted brackets 11, cross members 19, 21 for retaining the folds of fabric, and a fabric holder consisting of a flat shaft 5 with reduced ends 4 turning in brackets 2 and roll securing vanes 7 of triangular section slidably mounted on the flat part of the shaft 5. The first end of the fabric may be secured by clamps 18.
