Abstract

417,224. Paving-blocks. REVELANT, E., 16, Viale Stazione, Aurisinia, near Trieste, Italy. Feb. 2, 1934, No. 3418. Convention date, Feb. 3, 1933. [Class 87 (i).] Artificial stone blocks specially suitable for street paving, are preferably made in nearly cubical form as in Fig. 1, the spaces 1 being filled with asphalt 2. Greater strength is given to the stones by providing them with a metallic armouring 3 (Fig. 2). This armouring encloses the entire upper part of the stone and has for the purpose one or more metal cross pieces 4 on the upper surface. To increase the connection between the armouring and the stones inwardly bent tongues 5 are provided on the armouring.
