Abstract
415,903. Levels. BACH, N. C., 71, Finsensvej, and NIELSEN, R., 4, Nordre Fasanvej, both in Copenhagen. Oct. 24, 1933, No. 29458. Convention date, Dec. 23, 1932. [Class 97 (ii).] One or more spirit levels are adjustably mounted in a stock and a member adapted to project transversely from the stock is adjusted by a screw which is rotably mounted but incapable of axial movement. In the form shown, the stock supports in its top surface a chair 1 with two blocks, between which the level tube 4 is supported. The block 2 is fixed but the block 3 may be adjusted to tilt the tube 4. Rotation of a screw 7 at one end of the stock causes a graduated block 8 to project from a transverse hole. At the other end of the stock another chair 9 carrying a level tube 10 is adjustably mounted. In a modification the tube 10 may be mounted in a pendulous body 12, pivoted at 11. A screw 13 is adapted to clamp the body 12 after it has been set by gravity.
