Jan. 19, 1933, No. 19321/34. Divided on 413,698. Drawings to Specification. [Class 83 (i).] Metal-pouring ; moulds.-A vacuum chamber 1 containing an electrically heated crucible and a mould as described in Specification 413,698 is characterized in that the means for permitting the metal to flow from the crucible to the mould is operated by a member which passes through a hole in the chamber wall and is connected thereto by a flexible vacuum tight member. The mould has a cooling jacket and is mounted on a jacketed and vacuumsealed door of the chamber. All the parts may be constructed and operated as described in Specification 413,698. Specification 407,503, [Group XXVIII], also is referred to.
