Abstract

The method described in Specification 332,526, [Class 70], of manufacturing rubber goods for sponge-like or cellular structure from rubber latex foam or froth with a non-porous outer layer, is applied to the manufacture of toy figures. The toys may be made by coating the inside of the mould, before pouring in the rubber latex foam, with a liquid which yields a film of rubber after solidifying. The figures may be made in several parts joined together before vulcanizing. One or more cavities may be provided and a whistle may be embedded in the core.
