Abstract

412,268. Hack-saws. HARRIS, W., 44, Woodfield Avenue, North Wembley, Middlesex. Dec. 23, 1932, No. 36499. [Class 61 (ii).] A hack-saw has the blade 8 close to the frame 10, the straight back member of which carries rigid blade receiving brackets adapted to hold the blade symmetrically with respect to the back, a handle 11 being rigid with one of the brackets. A cylindrical piece of wood may be cut away as shown to form the back and the blade-holding brackets strengthened by ferrules 16, or the back may be of T or like section metal with blade-receiving brackets riveted thereto.
