412,022. Drain - - making apparatus. BARRETT, E. 0., 41, Swindon Road, Wroughton, Wiltshire. May 1, 1933, No. 12678. [Class 6 (i).] An appliance for making drainage trenches comprises a frame a adapted to be clipped or bolted to the axle or axle case of a vehicle, and a swing frame d pivoted on the main frame, the swing frame carrying an operating lever e, a trenching wheel g and a starting tine f which, on engaging the ground, assists in drawing the trenching wheel into the ground. The trenching wheel comprises a disc h clamped between two cupped members. Cross bars m limit rearward movement of the swing frame d and the frame may be held in raised position by a catch.
