[Class 144 (ii).] A tyre adapted to present a new non- skid tread surface when the original tread e has worn away is constructed with a series of internal grooves such as d, d<1>, d<11> filled with a rubber substitute, preferably factis or factis mixtures, of a nature different from that of the tyre. The grooves d, d<1>, d<11> are off-set from the original tread pattern.
