Abstract

411,233. Lawn-mowers. WEBB & CO., Ltd., H. C., and TAYLOR, F. W., Tame Road, Witton, Birmingham. Feb. 20, 1933, No. 5146. [Class 6 (ii).] A lawn-mower of the cylindrical cutter type is provided with a grass thrower having an adjustable member which permits the gap between the cutter and the leaving edge of the thrower to be varied. As shown, the grass thrower comprises a curved plate a to which is secured by rivets c a resilient plate d against which bear adjusting screws e whereby the upper edge of the plate d can be pressed towards the cutter b. Alternatively, the plate a may be formed in two parts, hinged together and having means for adjusting the upper part relatively to the cutter. Specification 10371 /92, [Class 6], is referred to.
