410,754. Pouring-stoppers for bottles. BERLANDINA, V. H., 10, Parsifal Road, and SIMPSON, C. M., 41, Ferncroft Avenue, both in Hampstead, London. Nov. 21, 1932. No. 32823. [Class 125 (iii).] Relates to pouring stoppers of the type fitted with a spring urged valve which simultaneously opens the pouring passage and the vent on being pressed against the action of the spring. According to the invention the valve contains two sliding members 0, O<1> spaced apart by a resilient member P, On pressing the rod M against the action of a spring (not shown) the hole Q communicates with the pouring passages R, X and the vent Z registers with the hole Y and communicates with a vent in the side of the valve. The valve casing is circular and the members O, O<1> are segmental in section. A stopper B is provided for engagement with a bottle &c. The pouring and vent tubes are removed in Fig. 3.
