Abstract

410,449. Photographic view-finders. KILFITT, H., 51, Scheibenstrasse, D³sseldorf, Germany. Sept. 28, 1933, No. 7399/34. Divided on 411,347. [Class 98 (i).] A view finder particularly suitable for cameras of small external dimensions is provided with one inspection opening 1 and two observation openings 2, 3, the opening 2 being used for direct view, Fig. 1, while for viewing at an angle of 90‹, Fig. 2, the opening 3 is used in conjunction with a mirror 4 which is automatically swung through 45‹ by the action of a cam slot 6 when the finder is rotated about the point 5a. For use as a top view finder, Fig. 7, the base plate 7 in which the slot 6 is formed is provided with a hinge 8 permitting the finder to take up a vertical position.
