Abstract
410,326. Projectiles. BRANDT, E. W., 101, Boulevard Murat, Paris. June 9, 1933, No. 16586. Convention date, July 19, 1932. [Class 9 (i).] A sub-calibre projectile having a heavy core 18 in the rear part of a hollow jacket 19 shaped as shown is combined with a base-piece 3 of full diameter, which transmits propulsion and rotation to the subcalibre projectile, but becomes detached therefrom on leaving the gun. The front part of the jacket may be filled with light material such as clay, baked earth, or porcelain.
