Abstract

An aqueous solution for waterproofing brick, stone, cement, concrete and plaster comprises glue material such as size and soft soap, for example, 1 part of powdered size to 4 parts of soft soap. Optional additions include ammonia, permanganate of potash and colouring agents. The composition may be mixed with the constituents of the cement &c. or applied to brick &c. by painting or spraying.
