[Class 89 (ii).] Vehicles when stowed in ships' holds or other transport means are secured by a turnbuckle 26 provided at one end of a chain 34 which is passed round the hub of the vehicle and then engaged with a hook 32. At the other end of the turnbuckle a hinged hook 30 engages with a bar 12 in a well sunk in the deck or floor.
