[Class 115] The aircraft landing-rail a is arranged at the side of the ship instead of at the stern and is secured to or guided by two separate lateral spars b, d. The sail is attached to the spar b around which it may be rolled when out of use and the lower towing members of the sail are connected to form a bridle which is led as a single line over the block c carried by the spar d. Both spars may be swung back against the side of the ship when not in use.
