[Class 80 (iv).] In screening or conveying apparatus of the type comprising a trough a which is resiliently supported and is given a jigging movement by rotary unbalanced masses r, the support consists of hinged links d and springs f disposed between the links and fixed abutments g. Preferably two oppositely rotating masses are utilized and are disposed so that the forces generated cancel each other in a direction parallel to the links. The masses are inter-geared and may be driven by a belt approximately perpendicular to the line of movement of the trough, either from fixed shafting or from a hand wheel w. The base b may be mounted on wheels c.
