Abstract

406,617. Combined ladder and ironing- table. AUFRICHTIG, A., 26, Bossigasse, and KOVARIK, K., 26, Marxergasse, both in Vienna. Oct. 18, 1933, No. 28838. [Class 52 (iii).] A combination step-ladder and ironing-table comprises a ladder-portion a and a strut b in the form of an ironing-board. The board b is attached to a rod c pivoted in the ends of the part a, and is supported in a horizontal position by pivoted struts d, hand e ; the transverse parts of these struts, when they are folded up, coincide with the rungs of the ladder. In a modification, the transverse upper end d<1> of the strut d is formed with an eye to receive the pointed lower end of the board b when the device is used as a ladder ; the strut h is replaced by a platform.
