Ladders.-A step ladder of the type having a sliding hinge-attachment between its members, has a platform 4 pivoted to the top step at 6 and to struts 10 which are pivoted at their lower ends to a bracket 12 carried by the rear leg 13 of the steps. As the steps are collapsed, the bracket is also collapsed against the rear leg.
