[Classes 54 and 135.] The valves b of a dry gas meter are operated from the reversing shaft d by means of levers comprising two leaf springs a, a<1> having arched ends secured to the valve spindles under tension by collars r, r<1>. Alternatively instead of providing the leaf springs a, a<1> with arched ends leather, felt or resilient discs or washers are provided between the collars and the leaf springs.
