Abstract
405,899. Filters. BYRNE, R. T., 5, Woodland Street, Bury New Road, Higher Broughton, and BROWN, W. H., 23, Victor Street, Lower Broughton, both in Salford, Lancashire. Aug. 4, 1933, No. 21884. [Class 46.] A filter for connection between a beer barrel and pump comprises a glass cylinder I with end caps B, F, and a central tube E with slots C, J. The tube E is blocked between the slots and the upper portion of the tube serves as inlet and the lower as outlet. The slot C has an inner covering of gauze and the slot J a double covering of fine gauze. The inner face of the cap F is covered with gauze K. Specification 828/90, [Class 46, Filtering &c.], is referred to.
