Abstract

403,702. Showcases. ANSELL, A., 64A, Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, London. March 31, 1932, No. 9252. [Class 52 (i).] A display cabinet comprises transparent members forming the sidewalls and shelves which are secured together and between channelled upper and lower members by interlocking male studs a' and female caps a<2> which engage in holes in the transparent members and in keyway openings in brackets c on the lugs a attached to the channelled members. Each male stud a<1> is provided with a projection which engages the keywayed slot in the lug, and rubber washers are interposed to prevent fracture of the glass. The channelled members at the front may be inclined and made double to accommodate sliding doors. The back shelf bracket may have a lip b' to prevent accidental slipping rearwards. Specifications 306,577, and 358,899 [Class 52 (i), Furniture, Fittings, &c. for], are referred to.
