Abstract
403,140. Net-ball net supports. HARGREAVES, W., Glendaruel, Thorley Lane, Timperley, Cheshire. June 30, 1932, No. 18457 [Class 132 (ii).] Means for holding a net-ball or like hoop c to an upright a comprises a bolt b which passes through a positioning piece d<3> and the upright (tube a), and is secured by a nut b<2>, the member d<3> having lugs d<1>, d<2>, which fit the upright. The hoop c may be adjusted by assembling the bolt b in another hole such as a<2> (which may be bushed) provided at different heights in the tube a. The piece d3 has a squared recess d<4> to receive the squared shank of the bolt and a circular hole to house the threaded part b<1> of the bolt. The shank of bolt b and the corresponding recess may be any other shape.
