[Class 18.] The switch, cock, valve or faucet controlling any domestic or public service supply such as electricity, gas or water, is covered by a money container in order that money may be placed therein to pay for the commodity. The container which is removable by means of a key in order that the commodity may be cut off if insufficient money is provided consists of a back plate A recessed at B and carrying a screw S, and a cover or box C, fitting the outer edge of the back plate ; the upperpart C<1> enclosing the switch &c. while the lower encloses two glass coin receptacles D<1> visible from the front to which access is obtained through slots G, behind which a deflector plate F is located which is extended to form a socket for a nut H which holds the two parts together, a slit in the cover C giving access to the nut by means of a key K, Fig. 8 shaped as shown. The bottom E of each glass coin receptacle is enclosed in order that the front edges of coins of small size may not lie level with the front edges of coins of larger size. In a modified form the cover plate and back plate are hinged together.
