[Class 69 (i).] A liquid meter comprises a tank 1, Fig. 2, provided with outlet openings 2, 3 in the bottom and wall such that the head h in the tank varies practically linearly with the flow, means being provided for measuring the pressure at 4 and so determining the weight of liquid passing per unit of time. The opening 2 may be circular, and the opening 3 may be shaped as shown in Fig. 3.
